Jordan and Nicole first met in Vegas when she had just turned 22 and he was 24. Despite the saying "what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas," their connection proved to be much stronger than a fleeting encounter. At the time, Nicole was living in Northern California, while Jordan was in Southern California. Before Jordan was set to leave for Japan, he made a special trip to visit her, and from that moment, they both felt an immediate and undeniable comfort with each other, as if they had known one another for years. During that short visit, they created countless inside jokes, shared their goofy sides, and enjoyed plenty of good food. It was difficult to part ways, knowing Jordan would soon be leaving for Japan.

Despite the distance, their relationship flourished. They maintained a long-distance relationship, with Nicole visiting Jordan in Japan as often as she could. There was a particularly challenging time when they were separated for nine months due to closed borders, but they both knew that if they could endure such a long separation, they could overcome anything together.

When Jordan finally returned, they made the most of their time, exploring new places and revisiting old favorites. They took trips to San Diego, explored Little Italy, enjoyed meals at Rodeo 39, indulged in matcha from Okayama Bakery, went on hikes, and spent peaceful moments walking in the park, free from distractions. Their shared love of adventure led them to travel the world together, from Tokyo, Japan, where they experienced sumo wrestling, to the Philippines, where they tried tinikling and swam with whale sharks.

Through these experiences, they discovered that they were not only best friends but also lovers, a combination that brought them immense joy. They realized that being with each other meant endless fun, deep conversations, and a lifetime of shared adventures.
